Winter Weddings
Always dreamed of tying the knot with faux fur around your shoulders, a crisp breeze in the air and adorned with winter florals? A winter wedding could be for you!
Roaring fires, twinkling lights, mulled wine, cosy surroundings - the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore comes to life for winter weddings! Our stunning lobby never looks better than when our tree is up and our stair case is complimented with garlands and festive wreaths.
We theme our Vintage Arrivals Reception seasonally, and in winter months you can expect to see our usual homemade confectionary, freshly baked scones with cream & jam, cake pops, chocolate dipped strawberries, macarons, mini Irish coffees, mulled wine or mulled cider, hot tea & coffee, savoury finger sandwiches and more. It's a warm welcome for your guests who may have come in from the cold! They will be cosy and comfortable in our gorgeous Library Bar with the fire lit, and some festive music will complete the ambience.
A hot-chocolate stand or carved ham could be an excellent addition too!
Don't be afraid to add some winter-themed decor - we can help in any way possible, and our fairlylight backdrop, colour co-ordinated lighting and stunning centrepieces will complete the look. Christmas decoration favours or personalised place cards in warm colours such as wine, gold and forest green are amazing finishing touches for your winter wedding.
Your menu can be as wintery as you want it! Our Black Pudding Parcel starter is out of this world and teamed with a root vegetable soup and the traditional roast turkey & ham or a more out-there game dish, our Chef is always flexible with ideas for menus. A festive assiette of desserts could be the perfect finish to a warming winter menu too.
